For the first time, we are building our FPSO's by converting crude oil carriers instead of ordering new vessels as we have done in the Block 17. Our two FPSO units, each with a treatment capacity of 115,000 barrels per day, will process, store and offload the production.
This new date at the Bentiaba locality is more than 2 million years older than the estimated date of about 69 million years previously assigned to those marine beds by earlier researchers.Facies types have been interpreted as crater deposits with narrow hypabyssal feeders and one calcite kimberlite as extrusive lava.Microdiamond sampling of the kimberlites returned low modeled grades and it is postulated that erosion of an enriched and eluviated ferricrete cap on many of the kimberlites may explain the prevalence of alluvial diamonds immediately downstream of the kimberlites. It aims to tap oil deposits spread across six fields in the southeastern section of Block 32 with 800 square kilometers.Approximately 300 kilometers of subsea pipelines will connect the fields to two Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units.Do you collect antique or vintage terrestrial globes? 1921-24 - Irish Civil War 1922 - Russia changes to Soviet Union. 1923 - Turkey independent 1924 - Christiana, Norway renamed Oslo 1924 - Leningrad appears1930 - Constantinople becomes Istanbul 1931 - Japan invades Manchuria and renames it Manchukuo In 1931 South Africa became a fully sovereign and self-governing dominion under the British crown.

An aerial reconnaissance survey conducted in 2005 drew attention to artisanal alluvial mining, in the vicinity of six kimberlite occurrences discovered during colonial times.
The kimberlites are pipes, some with multiple lobes, with surface areas of up to 16.7 ha.
They occur as resedimented volcaniclastic, pyroclastic, and coherent magmatic varieties and have been classified as Group 1 kimberlites.
From that they determined the age of the coastal sediments at a fossil locality near the southern Angolan village of Bentiaba, said paleontologist Christopher Strganac, lead author on the study.
