How to stop being intimidating
There's not much to getting past this one except more practice with social and conversation skills so you feel more comfortable in their presence.

But this does not make them significantly different from you.To understand intimidation, and why we get that powerful feeling of inadequacy and impotency, we've got to remember that human beings are primates, and so are very status conscious creatures.It matters a lot to us who's up and who's down in the pecking order.It's easy to skimp on the fundamentals once you're used to playing the game, but taking time to practice your dribbling, proper shooting form, passing and other basics will have a significant effect on your confidence on the court.Instead of second-guessing yourself about what to do, you'll be able to just do it.You get used to them, start to see them as normal people, and learn firsthand that they have flaws and quirks and insecurities like everyone else.
What also helps is improving your own confidence and social skills.
That is, unless you want women to just start calling you a resting assh*le (“RA” for short).
Women won't stop at your face; we'll label all of you as that.
They may be really outgoing as well, which can add in all the problems from the point above.
I find their intimidating aura shrinks when you just have more experience with them.
Some socially awkward types have the problem of being a bit too uneasy around certain types of people.
