Updating your computer is almost complete disable
In previous Windows versions, we could choose what updates are downloaded and installed.

And do be sure the Automatic setting for how updates are installed has been changed to—and always remains—Notify to schedule restart (see the tip below).
When I click on Windows Update I keep seeing a message stating 'Your upgrade to Windows 10 is ready' - and I can't download any other updates.
It's almost as if Microsoft is keeping my computer hostage!
In Windows 10, Windows Update settings have been moved from the classic Control Panel to the new Settings app.
While classic Control Panel is still present in Windows 10 and we need to navigate to the classic Control Panel to access many of the settings, some of the familiar Windows Update settings are neither present in the Control Panel nor available in Settings app.
For anyone who uses any programs or websites that use Java and want to protect themselves from any threats we recommend disabling Java in your browser.
